About our Legal Director

Verity White smiling with her hand placed on her hip. She has brown hair and is wearing black pants, white top and pink earrings.

Verity White, Legal Director and Chief Contract Enthusiast

When Verity was a law student, she highly valued her own internship experience which placed her at a large corporate organisation and set her on a path of commercial legal practice.

Now, 10+ years later, Verity wants to give similar opportunities for growth and practical experience to other students, in her design-led, commercial law firm.

Selection Criteria

Open to all law students from 2nd year onwards who have completed Contract Law (or equivalent) subject

  • We encourage First Nations students, mature age students, and neurodiverse students to apply.

  • We especially encourage women to apply (even if you think you might not 100% meet the requirements)

  • Whilst we are open for a blended remote style, in-person sessions will be needed for onboarding and delivery at our South Yarra office.

  • Selection is based on students’ demonstrated interest areas, as well as client needs and project workload.

For example, a student who claims they love contracts and commercial law might demonstrate their love by writing articles about contracts on LinkedIn, engaging in contract and commercial law discussions on social media, building out contract assembly tools using low / no code automation apps, or reading and reviewing books about contracts and legal design.

For example, we might have a large project that happens to involve redesigning an onboarding process for a boutique law firm and a student might have previously worked at a boutique law firm.
